Daniel Salmun
Software Engineer
About Me
I began coding in high school, which led to my first professional role as a Software Engineer at age 19, where I specialized in Natural Language Processing (NLP) at Keepcon.
From there, I joined my university's High-Performance Computing (HPC) lab, contributing to international academic projects in Computer Vision, RISC-V, and image and video processing. This work culminated in a first-author publication and Best Paper Award in the 12th Latin American HPC Conference.
After obtaining my Computer Science degree, I began a new role where I implemented a RAG-augmented AI chatbot for Jive, and oversaw the maintenance and enhancement of ObjectStore, a NoSQL, Object-Oriented DBMS.
Currently, I'm a founding Full-Stack AI Engineer at nivii.ai, where we are building the next generation of AI-assisted BI tools.
